Steiff Vintage Chamois Buck Vintage German Mohair Stuffed Animal $100
This handsome chamois buck was made by Steiff between 1961-68. He still has his chest tag and can be found on page 199 in Guenther Pfeiffer's Steiff Sortiment book. He is the larger of the 2 sizes made, 17 cm, and measures about 5 1/2" long and 5 1/2" tall to the top of his head; to the top of his horns he is about 6 1/2". His body is made from long white-tipped mohair, and his legs and fact are the traditional short mohair. His horns and ears are made of velvet, and his tail is made from what I believe to be acrylic floss, but it could also be horse hair. The mohair is clean with very minimal thinning along the seams, and the airbrushed features are still vibrant. He has beautiful green glass eyes with black centers, and the floss nose and mouth are still tightly stitched. All of our Steiff are offensive-odor free and come from a smoke-free home. U369 -

He is the 22 cm size and measures about 11 1/2" long and 8" tall. There is what looks like a very small scrap of a US Zone flag still attached to the upper part of Oxy's left leg, but it is so small that I'd rather let the buyer decide. Oxy has a clean coat of mohair with vibrant air brushed features. There is minimal thinning along the seams and on the end of his tail. His dewlap is made of velvet, as is his nose. Unfortunately his nose has come unstitched on the left side, but this could be easily fixed by someone who knows their way around a needle and thread. He's also missing his riding gear and his left eye. He measures about 20" tall x 24" long overall. A little rough, but would still look great in a vintage holiday display, and he's a great candidate for a restoration. Vintage Steiff Goldi Hamster Stuffed Dralon Plush Animal Promo Toy $75.00
This Goldi Hamster was made by Steiff as a promotional item for Commerzbank in Germany from 1978-80. You can find him on page 411 of the Steiff Sortiment book. An easy fix for anyone who is handle with a sewing machine, or just a needle & thread. With his big head, he is a little top-heavy and doesn't like to stand on his own, but you could easily display him at the back of your shelf against the wall, and nobody would ever know! Steiff Leopard Cub Vintage German Stuffed Animal $125
This is a vintage Steiff leopard cub named "Taky". He still has his Steiff button and was made sometime between 1976-83. You can find Taky on page 311 in the Steiff Sortiment book. In the sitting position, he is about 15 1/2" tall (40 cm), and 17" long. His tail adds another 9". His belly/chest area has a small spot where his stitching has come undone about 1" long, but I think anyone who knows how to sew would have no problem fixing this. His button has a small amount of surface rust on it. As with all of our Steiff animals, he comes from a smoke-free environment and has no offensive odors. I491 -
Steiff Rudder Racer Vintage German Child's Wooden Irish Mail $150
This is Steiff's version of an Irish Mail. It's called a "Rudder Racer" and is made of wood. You'll find it on page 462 in Pfeiffer's Steiff Sortiment book. This one has item number 2587 on the back, which dates it to 1953-58 in the book. It operates by pulling a wooden stick-type handle (missing) that would be attached to the canvas type cord beneath the seat. As the child pulls the cord, the racer moves, much like the pumping action of an Irish Mail. It has foot-controlled steering on the front axle. The wheels are rubber-covered metal discs. There is some splitting on the wooden seat area, and the front right wheel has some damage. The body measures about 31" long (34 if the wheels are included) and about 18" wide at the wheels.
Typically our items include shipping in the price, however because of the size of this piece it is for local pick-up. We are willing to ship it, but you will have to contact us with your info so we can calculate shipping costs. #J833 -
Lighted Steiff Dealer Store Sign $120
This is a lighted Steiff dealer sign that could have been hung in your store window or displayed on a counter or shelf. It measures 19" wide x 3" deep x 7 1/4" tall. It is made of a thin plastic. The thin plastic is even thinner in the corners, causing some cracking. It runs on standard 110v electricity with a fluorescent tube bulb. It gets a great glow when plugged in, and even with just sunlight shinning through it, it has a nice glow. This will be shipped with the fluorescent tube removed (included) and the inside packed with packing material, with the screws lightly screwed in; therefore some minor assembly will be required before you can plug it in to enjoy it.
